What it does
An assistant that works in your files
Not a chat window that tells you what to do. Astra opens the folder and does it, in front of you.
It works in a folder, not a chat box
Point Astra at a folder on your computer. It reads what is there, writes the changes you ask for, and shows you each one before it happens.
You describe the outcome
Say what you want in ordinary words. There is no syntax to learn and nothing to install alongside it — the work happens in front of you, visually.
Paid from your credits
Sign in with your CircuitNotion account and the app spends from the same wallet as everything else. You can see the running cost as you go.
Windows
If Windows says it protected your PC
This is expected, and it is not a warning about Astra. Windows shows it for any installer whose publisher it has not seen often enough yet. Two clicks get past it.
Why does it appear at all?
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen keeps a reputation score for every application publisher. A new installer has no score yet, so it is shown as unrecognised — the message is about how many times Windows has seen the file, not about what is in it. The warning goes away on its own as more people install it.
Check you have the real file
Every download here starts at www.circuitnotion.com over an encrypted connection, and Astra checks that each update it installs was signed by us before it will run it. If somebody sends you an Astra installer from anywhere else, do not run it.
Updates
You only install it once
Astra checks for new versions by itself and tells you when one is ready. You never need to come back to this page.
It checks on its own
Astra asks for the current version when it starts. There is nothing to subscribe to and no newsletter to watch.
It tells you in the app
When a new version is out, a notice appears inside Astra saying so. Your work is not interrupted and nothing is downloaded until you say yes.
One click installs it
Choose to update and Astra fetches the new version, verifies it was signed by us, and restarts into it. Your projects and settings are untouched.
Every update is cryptographically signed, and Astra refuses one whose signature does not match the key built into the application. That is what stops anybody who can intercept a download from replacing an update with something else.
